James Alcorn

James Alcorn is an investor based in San Francisco, focused on infrastructure, MLOps, and intelligent applications.
Prior to joining Zetta in 2018, James was an investor at Spectrum Equity, a San Francisco based private equity firm investing in software and internet companies. His track record of identifying and serving great management teams began with investment banking and hedge fund experiences in the United States, India, and Australia.
James earned a BSc in Environmental Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Division 1 athlete competing on the heavyweight rowing team. In his spare time, he spins vinyl records and plays the cello.
